Tetsunobo / Kanabo / Tetsubo
Forged mild steel. Drilled and with pins forged in. 12 Lbs and 48" long. This weapon goes by a few names. "Kanabo" means metal staff, "Tetsubo" and "Tetsunobo" both mean iron staff. I believe Tetsunobo is the most correct. I have not found a shred of historical evidence for the wood version shown on Deadliest Warrior on Spike TV. There's lots of history to back up the iron or steel version.
Every one is different. I make them with various twists and different pommel configurations.
